 A HERO?

As far as I’m concerned, Oskar Schindler wasn’t just a hero. He became it after he saved over 1.100 Jews during the Holocaust. But before that? Was he a good person? No. That’s what made him even more human than a lot of people, which are considered heroes because a hero, it’s not supposed to be someone who just cares about itself. And that’s how Schindler used to be. A Nazi who only wanted the Jews to work for him in his factory. That gave him money whom was wasted in vain before he recognized how selfish he was and decided to save people by buying them. Nowadays, no one is a saint. Everybody has been egocentric for once in its life. For those people, Schindler was definitely a hero who had saved their lives from what could have been. For me, who I didn’t have to go through that, was a hero and more. It’s not only that he saved them, it’s the prove that we can all become better if we want to. He could have continued not caring about them and making his life better, but he didn’t. He reflected, and choose to take care of those who didn’t have what he had.

OMAR

From my point of view Oskar Schindler was part of a hero because in his last years of life he had one of the greatest acts of empathy and humanity helping those hundreds of Jews but I win the thought that he was for a very long time being part of the horrible Nazi side and being part of all the atrocities that were carried out by the Nazis themselves.

As far as I’m concerned, Oskar Schindler was more than a hero. He was a Nazi who at first only cared about himself, but as events unfolded, as he saw reality and all the destruction that was taking place, he changed. He saw everything that was happening, everything that he and many people came to ignore because that didn’t directly affect them unless they were Jews. Ignorance and selfishness were concepts that all Nazis applied to themselves regarding what was happening around them. But, Oskar was able to set them aside and see the truth, thus helping 1,100 Jews. He began as a selfish man, but then became the protector of his workers. He was the only one who made a change, and that’s quite honorable.

ARNAU

As we have seen before, Oskar schindler needed them because  they were cheap labor but he never wished them death, he considered them people with rights at all times, but since he could not do anything other than hire them, he did everything possible to save them, in my opinion he is a hero

In my opinion Shidler wasn't a hero because at the beginning he wanted Jews to work for free in his factory, so he wasn't a hero.
